about Field & Ivy Car Club

We’re a private club working on building a deeper, more inclusive car culture, one story at a time.

Field & Ivy originated in Santa Monica, California. Car club membership is open to the public, but each application is personally reviewed for approval.

What makes Field & Ivy different from other car clubs?

At every car meet, we kept feeling like something was missing. The cars were incredible, the people familiar—but there was no story behind the sheet metal. We often found ourselves among spec sheet conversations or being judged for not having a certain type of car.

When we spotted a car we loved, we rarely knew who it belonged to or where it came from. Field & Ivy was born to bring depth and identity to the community—rooted in connection, shared values, and timeless style.

Why stories & how is this different from other brands who share them?

We believe every car has a story potentially worth sharing—and it shouldn’t only be reserved for a select few. While we're aiming to highlight different members each month, every person in the club has the opportunity to tell their story. That’s why our club stickers exist: they’re a simple way for others - whether at a car meet or not - to learn about your car, even if you’re not standing next to it. No gatekeeping. No ego. Just genuine connection through shared passion.

What comes with membership at Field & Ivy?

Currently, Field & Ivy membership is free to join, but we have plans to expanding into future phases to enhance our membership offering.

Our membership includes a free welcome packet, future shop discounts and invites to special events, a published story, and much more to come.

We are currently focusing on developing partner offers for our members, but we want to start small and grow slow and very intentional, and although we have a lot of ideas for expansion, we can't let those out into the public just yet.

Do I need to own a Porsche to join?

Of course not. That’s exactly what we’re working to shift at Field & Ivy. We believe car culture should be inclusive—not exclusive—and that passion doesn’t come with a price tag. While we personally review each application, we’re not looking for status. We’re looking for story. What makes your car yours. Maybe it was a certain road trip or how you came to owning the car, we're looking for that intangible something. Joining Field & Ivy isn’t just signing up—it’s opening a window into what drives you.

But with that said, we unfortunately can't accept all who apply and submitting an application does not confer acceptance. We want to make sure our members bring something unique to the table and is worth sharing.

Are you a clothing brand?

Not completely—our focus starts with the stories of our members. The products simply help support the community so we don’t have to charge membership fees for our current operational lift. We have a background in fashion and retail, and we’ve seen plenty of brands launch with style, but little substance. Field & Ivy was built to be different—story first, always.

What if I don't have a good story to join?

That’s totally okay. You don’t need a dramatic origin story to be part of Field & Ivy. Sometimes the story is just the slow build, the personal connection, or the way your car makes you feel on a quiet drive. We’re not here to judge the size of the story—only that it’s yours.

And if you’re still figuring it out, that’s part of the journey too. Becoming a member isn't the only way to support us or be part of Field & Ivy.
